Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) is the statutory body responsible for promoting and controlling the sport of greyhound racing in Victoria.
We encourage the expression of opinions and open discussions on the Greyhound Racing Victoria Facebook Page, but also ask that you act respectfully and responsibly. Please refer to the Social Media Rules available on our website (http://www.grv.org.au/General/Policies.aspx) for a full description of the terms and conditions which govern your use of the Greyhound Racing Victoria Facebook Page. By accessing the Greyhound Racing Victoria Facebook Page you agree to be bound by these Social Media Rules.
By way of summary, and without limiting the Social Media Rules, you must not use the Greyhound Racing Victoria Facebook Page to:
• Upload content which is offensive, abusive, inflammatory, racist, obscene, profane, discriminatory or hateful
• Upload content which threatens, abuses, harasses or defames any person or organisation
• Solicit business, post SPAM or to otherwise advertise or endorse any person’s products or services
• Make multiple repetitive posts
• Copy and re-post another user’s post
• Make factually incorrect, misleading or deceptive comments or otherwise mislead or deceive others
• Infringe the rights (including intellectual property rights and moral rights) of GRV or any third party or breach any law
• Impersonate, or otherwise misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any other person or entity
Posts may be deleted from the Greyhound Racing Victoria Facebook Page if they contravene the Social Media Rules, are off the topic of a particular thread or post, or if they contain anything else GRV deems inappropriate or contrary to the purpose of the Greyhound Racing Victoria Facebook Page. We may also limit or suspend (in part or in full) a user’s access if they breach (or repeatedly breach) the Social Media Rules.
Content uploaded to the Greyhound Racing Victoria Facebook Page by users represents the individual opinion of the relevant user. GRV does not endorse, or accept responsibility or liability for, the comments and content posted by users on the Greyhound Racing Victoria Facebook Page.
We may amend the Social Media Rules at any time so please check these from time to time to ensure that you are aware of these changes.
